This was a strategic acquisition by an employee who purchased the Company.
Northern Edge Advisors served as the exclusive financial advisor to Far Horizons, LLC.
This transaction, one of several recent transactions advised by Northern Edge, highlights our expertise in navigating diverse deal environments and our commitment to securing the most attractive outcomes for our clients.
During the marketing approach, our team attracted strong interest from multiple parties, including an employee of the Company. After thorough negotiations with the interested parties, the employee’s offer was determined to best meet our client’s objectives.
Leading an acquisition between an employee and employer poses unique challenges, particularly negotiating on behalf of our client while maintaining the existing employee/employer relationship. Our team’s clear communication and strategic guidance were pivotal in driving the negotiations, ensuring a smooth transaction and minimizing disruptions to Bluewater’s operations.
In addition to managing negotiations, Northern Edge also guided the buyer in securing financing, further cementing our leadership role in the deal.
The transaction successfully met the needs of all parties involved. The owners, a husband and wife, now have the satisfaction and peace of mind knowing that the business is in capable hands, allowing them to pursue other interests. This transaction not only facilitated their swift and smooth exit from the business but also established a solid foundation for the continued success and growth of the Company under new ownership.
