HyNetics Corporation acquired by Advanced Scientifics, Inc.
New York, NY – Northern Edge is proud to announce the sale of HyNetics Corporation, a leading provider of disposable mixing technology and single-use processing systems, to Advanced Scientifics, Inc. Northern Edge acted as the exclusive financial advisor to HyNetics Corporation. The transaction was led by Brian Mihelic and supported by Andrew Koczo and Joseph Okeyo.
HyNetics will join Advanced Scientifics, Inc., a global leader in the design and manufacture of single use systems for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Advanced Scientifics, Inc. emerged as a strong contender for its ability to market the patented technology with their established sales force and international presence including an off-shore manufacturing facility.
“For years HyNetics technology has consistently proven to be superior in the market and is one of the few firms capable of effectively mixing at the 2,500 liter and above capacity. The only problem was our technology was not sufficiently known in the market” stated Paul Hallman, CEO of HyNetics Corporation.
HyNetics Corporation was the first to provide the patented technology for a single-use mixing system capable of handling quantities up to 10,000 liters. Their products serve a growing demand within major pharmaceutical and biotechnology firms for single-use systems and uniquely position the firm amongst blue-chip global competitors.
